  1. I liked the part where MLK talked about his four children being able to not be judged by the color of their skin. I think this is the most important part of the speech because that was the main goal, for blacks, whites, and all races to be weaved together. I also liked that he used his children because he means the next age after me. Really deep post, thanks!

  2. I liked the part when M.L.K. said “With this statement we will be able to work together,to pray together, to go to jail together, Knowing that we will be free one day.” I liked it ,for one part, because when he mentioned going to jail it reminded me of the Children’s March and for the other part it showed how unfair it was by mentioning all of those things.

  3. I like when MLK says I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I like this because he is saying that he hopes his kids have a better life than he did because no one should live a life where they are treated as a nonhuman. I loved the speech it gave me chills too.

  4. I really like the part when he says “I have dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” The reason I like it is because he is saying that one day he hopes that all the people in the US will be judged by how they act and what their personality is and not by the color of their skin. I think it also represents adults and not just children though because he is talking about equality for all. I love this speech so much and it gives me the chills every time I hear it.

  5. My favorite part was the part when Martin Luther King Jr. said ” I have a dream that my four little children will live in nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.” I really like that part because it makes the most sense, it brings out most of the speech in my opinion, and it has a nice touch to it. I also like it because it really proves the ignorant whites wrong. That speech was cool.

  6. I like the part when MLK says I have a dream that one day on the red hills of georgia sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able sit down together at the table of brotherhood. I like this part because to me it means that black an white people can work together and help each other no matter how bad the situation is. I think that was something big in the civil rights movement.

  7. I liked when MLK was saying “Let freedom ring” across every region in the US by naming specific regions and landmarks. I liked this because he emphasized that freedom should belong to every person in every part of our country. Also I liked this because he seemed like he really wanted this to happen.

  8. I think the most important part of the speech is when Martin Luther King takes one of those moments to talk about the children by saying “I have a dream that one day little black girls and little black boys will join hands with little white girls and little white boys”. I think that this is the most important part of the speech because the parents out there are glad that Martin Luther King can put some attention towards there children and not just themselves. I think that I could go on and on forever talking about this one little speech that change the world. In the beginning of the school year I hope that we would learn something about the march on Washington and this one little video really sparked my mind into putting more attention into rasisum. Thank you!

  9. I liked when Martin Luther King Jr. said “So even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow I still have a dream!” because he is saying even though we have struggles in life I wish that one day for this to happen. And that encourages me to do anything I dream and also him saying that makes me think sooner or later I could turn one of my dreams into reality. I honestly love the whole speech because it makes me want to make his dream become 100% reality. And I replay the speech over and over and every time he says “I have a dream.” It makes me smile because I know he is going to say something amazing.

  10. A lot of people might have said this put i liked when MLK said one day my four little children will not be judged by the color of their skin. I like that because no matter what it dosent matter the why you look on the outside it matters the way you look in the inside. And they should be like a regular kid. I kind of have tears of joy because he was a such a good gy to us. AMEN MLK!

  11. My favorite part was when he said “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, of sons of former slaves and of sons of former slave owners, will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood. I choose that one because I think that brotherhood most describes it. It most describes it because brothers have to look out for each other and do so many things together and stuff like that. I also liked the part because when he was saying part of it they showed Lincolns statue. The reason why was because I really like Lincoln.

  12. My favorite part is when M.L.K says, “I have a dream that one day my four little children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of there skin, but by the content of there character”. Why I love this part the most is because it shows that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. I love this whole speech because M.L.K is saying what he believes in and he is not afraid to stand up for all of the blacks.

  13. My favorite part is when he said “I have a dream that when my 4 little children will live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of there skin, but by the content of there character”. I like this part because he wants people in the U.S.A be judged by how they act, their characteristic and not be judged by there skin. Also I like this part is because all people to live and be happy together in peace.

  14. One of my favorite parts was when he said “They will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.” I like this quote because it doesn’t matter what skin color you have but it matters who you are inside. This was brave of MLK to say because blacks were judged by the color of their skin at the time.

  15. I thought this speech was amazing! My favorite part was when MLK said ” In Alabama little black boys and little black girls will be able to join hands with little white girls and little boys and sisters and brothers”. I liked why he said that because he’s meaning that he wants all the kids play together instead of them having to not play together. I think this was a very powerful speech!

  16. I love this speech and admire MLK, my favorite part is when he says”I have a dream, a dream that on day my four children will be able to not be judged by there color but by the content of their character. I think that it’s one of the best speeches I ever heard. I think he want’s to tell everyone that no matter what color you are, he wishes that you won’t be judged by your color but by the person you are, the way you act. Anyway I still think it’s a awesome speech!

  17. My favorite part when MLK said one day my four little children one day will grow up and they will not be treated the way their skin is. It doesn’t matter the way you look on the outside it matters the way you look in the inside. He also said it proud.

  18. I like the way that when MLK said the thing he was trying to say he said it proud. I like how he said everybody should be treated equal not just blacks. And my most favorite is when he said one day he wished that the world would be more safer.

  19. I liked the part when he said that he wants his four children to be judged by the content of their character not by the color of their skin. Because he knows that it will be hard but someday his dream will come true. He knows that people someday won’t be judged by their appearance but by their character.
